Causes of Hemorrhoids

  • Straining during bowel movements
  • Damp heat
  • Dryness
  • Blood stagnation & Heat in Blood
  • Wind in the large intestine and rectum

Protocol for Hemorrhoids Relief:
The protocol is to move blood, break up stagnation, moisten the bowles and clear heat & toxicity.

Solutions for Hemorrhoids:
Take HemorClear for 5-10 days or until itching and inflammation are gone.

Add Moistening Formula: If you have a tendency toward hard dry stools, consider adding “Nourish” - moistens yin and blood and stops dryness.

Use in conjunction with topical formula “Ma Ying Long”. Take “Nourish” for an additional 2-3 weeks or until bowels movements are consistently well formed but soft and easy to pass. Slowly decrease dose. Add it back in if dry stools return.

Help keep the stool soft by drinking plenty of water, eating fresh fruit and vegetables, good fiber intake and avoid spicy foods. Breath during bowel movements and don’t strain.

Foods for Hemorrhoids
Increase protein intake, esp vegetable protein - legumes, nuts and seeds, grains, provitamin A products such as carrots, sweet potatoes, winter squash. Spelt, quinoa, fermented foods, chlorella, dark leafy vegetables, broccoli, pears, cabbage, apples, avocados, artichokes, kefir and yogurt.

Drink plenty of fluids, esp. water, herbal teas and milks, like hemp or almond. Avoid spicy foods, caffeine and alcohol.
