ACUPUNCTURIST

Nirada brings compassion, intelligence and a quick understanding of the root cause of health issues. She believes in addressing daily lifestyle habits first in order to improve the quality of life of each patient she sees. By making simple changes with sleep and diet, for instance, one can see major changes in mood and outlook, and gain an overall sense of wellness. Nirada treats all conditions including pain management, stress, insomnia, addiction, digestive issues, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Nirada graduated and received her master’s degree from Yo San University and is licensed in California in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Originally from New York, she has a BA from New York University and has a chef training certificate from the Natural Gourmet. During her training at Yo San, she completed an internship in Beijing, China and earned a certificate in Advanced Clinical Training at Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. She also completed her clinical externship at the Wellness Center at the historic General Hospital in downtown Los Angeles, where integrative health services, including community acupuncture, were provided for the local community. While there, she assisted in teaching a TCM cooking class.
