Treatment of Infertility With Acupuncture:
Acupuncture and Chinese herbs balance the endocrine system and relieve stress, thus improving fertility for both men and women.  Research out of Tel Aviv University, published in the Journal of Integrative Medicine shows that when Acupuncture is used with western treatments, fertility rates are 26% higher than without Acupuncture.  Doctors are now encouraging women to get acupuncture on the same day as in vitro fertilization (IVF).

What to Expect:
Acupuncture and herbs are recommended to begin as soon as the couple starts to think about pregnancy.  The protocol for fertility is one treatment a week for three to four months.  Herbal formulas are prescribed on a case by case basis.
